Just an everyday care package

Do you have a loved one deployed? Do you have kids? When my husband was deployed, my kids loved being a part of making care packages. We would go to the store and everyone would pick out a couple of items, my daughter usually chose candies and cookies, my son who was older picked out magazines and protein bars! All tossed in a box with toiletries and such. My husband loved these handpicked items.  What are your ideas?
