A little about the author

I am a military wife of more than 19 years. My husband has 3 long deployments to the Middle East, 10 months, 12 months and 15 months. We have 2 beautiful children.

I wrote "My Daddy Is In The Army" to help other military kids keep in touch with their deployed parent in a fun way. We did most of the ideas in the book to help us feel a little closer to Daddy when he was gone and it helped my husband as well.

This blog it is all about ideas to help families get through their deployments. I hope that this blog is a blessing to families out there going through deployments. Please share your ideas too!
